Established in October 2008 by Matt Hughes, Devil PR is an East London based music PR company, specialising in national print media, national online press, specialist radio and specialist TV plugging campaigns.
Boasting a whose CV’s include work in management, at labels, in music television and in publicity, with some of the biggest names and companies in alternative music over the past decade, Devil PR works with artists at all levels, often helping to develop bands and artists from their embryonic stages through to establishing their status as regular feature and cover stars, as well as larger exposure through radio and music TV channels.
Our current print and online PR roster includes established bands like Faith No More, Architects, Puscifer, Rise Against, Rolo Tomassi, Real Friends, Tonight Alive, The Maine, Blood Red Shoes, TTNG, Jamie Lenman, Caspian, The XCERTS, Silverstein, Vennart, Off With Their Heads, The Devil Wears Prada, Raised Fist, Car Bomb and August Burns Red. We also work with fast rising new bands like Black Peaks, Brutus, Fizzy Blood, Wage War, Press To Meco, Ocean Grove, Dune Rats, Employed To Serve, The St Pierre Snake Invasion and and very new, incredibly exciting acts like Kid Kapichi, The Driver Era, Glitterer, Gloo, Slowly Slowly, Bad Dreems, Hunny, Dream State, Soeur, Yours Truly and many more.
We also work radio for the likes of Fatherson, The Driver Era, Dream State, Black Peaks, Bury Tomorrow, Frank Iero & The Future Violents, Sun Arcana, Northlane, The XCERTS and many more.
With no set campaign fee structure in place, we approach each project in a bespoke manner, tailoring prospective campaigns to suit each client’s individual needs, budgets and expectations.
All campaigns are serviced digitally through our own secure Haulix delivery system, which not only offers individual watermarking to prevent piracy, but also serves as the most cost-effective way of getting your releases to our contacts across our extensive database.
Devil PR now also has a festival, events and awards show PR company, called MHC Publicity, which is a co-venture with Little Press. MHC’s work to date includes the Slam Dunk Festivals (for 9 years until 2016), 2000trees Festival, ArcTanGenT Festival, Hit The Deck Festivals, as well as The Polaris Music Prize, Canada’s equivalent of the Mercury Music Prize.
Matt Hughes at Devil PR also runs a management arm, looking after Black Peaks, Rolo Tomassi, False Advertising and Jamie Lenman.
